01Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the VISEFF mobile application ("App"), including its on-device editing tools and AI Effects. By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

02Description of Service

VISEFF provides the following features:

• On-device tools — Crop, Remove BG, AI Erase and FX (Glitch, Motion Speed, VHS, Color Pop). These tools run on your device and are free to use with no usage limit.
• AI Effects — Visual effects generated by a third-party AI service from a photo you choose. AI Effects has a daily usage limit. The number of AI Effects available to free users and to Premium subscribers is shown in the App and may change.

03Subscriptions

VISEFF Premium is offered as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription. Current prices and any free trial are shown in the App before you subscribe.

• Free trial — If a free trial is offered and you do not cancel before it ends, your subscription starts and you are charged automatically.
• Auto-renewal — Your subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Billing — Payment is charged to your Apple ID account (iPhone) or Google Play account (Android) and is governed by the terms of the store you purchased from. Applicable taxes may apply depending on your location.
• Cancellation — You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings (iPhone) or in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions (Android). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds — All purchases are final and non-refundable unless required by applicable law. For refund requests, please follow the standard refund process of the store you purchased from (Apple's App Store or Google Play).

04Your Photos

You are responsible for the photos you edit and submit through the App.

• Your rights — You must own, or have the right to use, every photo you submit.
• Other people — You must not upload photos of other people without their consent.
• Prohibited content — You must not use the App to create sexual, violent or harassing content, content that impersonates another person, or any inappropriate content involving minors.

05AI-Generated Content

VISEFF uses a third-party AI service to generate AI Effects. Please be aware of the following:

• Results may vary — AI-generated images may differ from what you expect or be imperfect. We do not guarantee any specific output style, quality, or resemblance to the original photo.
• Watermark — Images generated on the free version may include a watermark.
• Your responsibility — You are responsible for how you use generated images, and you must comply with OpenAI's usage policies.

06Acceptable Use

• Compliance with laws — You will use the App in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.
• Reverse engineering — You will not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the App's source code, models, or proprietary systems.
• Automated access — You will not use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access or abuse the App's AI features.
• Impersonation — You will not impersonate CatVerse Lab, its employees, or other users of the App.

07Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to the VISEFF name, design, text, graphics, and software — are the exclusive property of CatVerse Lab and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

• Your content — You retain ownership of photos you submit to the App. By submitting content, you grant CatVerse Lab a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that content solely to provide the requested features.
• App licence — We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal purposes in accordance with these Terms.

08Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. CatVerse Lab does not warrant that:

• Uninterrupted service — The App will be available at all times or free from errors, bugs, or technical issues.
• AI output — AI-generated images will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.
• Fitness for purpose — The App will meet your specific requirements or expectations.

09Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CatVerse Lab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:

• Use of generated content — Any use you make of AI-generated images.
• Data loss — Loss of photos or other data stored on your device.
• Service interruption — Inability to access the App or AI Effects due to technical issues, maintenance, or circumstances beyond our control.

10Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

11Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at our sole discretion, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct harmful to other users, CatVerse Lab, or third parties. Upon termination, all licences granted under these Terms will immediately cease.

12Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

13Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before resorting to formal legal proceedings.
