Cathena ("we", "us") is a cat-care and creativity app. This policy explains what information the app uses, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
01Information That Stays on Your Device
Your cats' profiles (name, breed, birthday, care notes, weight records), your diary moments and photos, reminders, achievements, your photo-reading history and your chat history are stored only on your device. We do not have a copy of them. They are included in your phone's backup (iCloud or computer backup on iPhone; Google backup on Android, if backups are turned on), so restoring a backup to a new phone brings them back. Deleting the app deletes them.
02Information You Send When You Use an AI Feature
Some features only work by sending content to our server, which passes it to an AI service to produce the result:
- Creative Studio — The photo you choose and the style you picked.
- AI Chat — Your message, up to the last 10 messages of the current conversation, and — if "Share cat profiles with the AI assistant" is on and you picked a cat — that cat's care profile (e.g. age, breed, diet, medications, allergies, latest weight). Your vet clinic's name and phone number are never sent.
- Photo Reading (Care Check, Injury & First Aid, Mood Reading, Pet Communicator) — The photo you choose, the mode, any note you type, and — if sharing is on — the selected cat's name, breed and age.
Together with each request we send basic technical information: app version, device model, OS version, language and region, whether you are a Premium subscriber, and an app-specific device identifier used to apply daily limits (on iPhone, identifierForVendor; on Android, a random ID created when the app is first opened). We do not ask for your name, email address or account.
03Who Processes It
- OpenAI — Generates images, chat answers and photo readings. Content sent through OpenAI's API is not used to train OpenAI's models by default, and is handled under OpenAI's API data policies.
- Google Cloud (Cloud Run and Cloud Storage, United States) — Runs our server and stores the records described in section 4.
- Google Firebase Analytics — Anonymous usage events (for example "a creation was started", "a reading finished"), used to understand which features are used. You can turn this off in Settings → "Share Usage Statistics". We never send your photos, messages or cat profiles to analytics.
- Google AdMob — Shows ads to non-Premium users. AdMob may collect device and advertising information (on Android, including the Advertising ID) as described in Google's privacy policy. The app does not ask for tracking permission and does not track you across other companies' apps. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown, and you can change your choice in Settings → "Privacy Choices".
- Apple / Google Play — Handle subscriptions and payments. We never see your payment details.
04What We Keep on Our Server, and for How Long
To operate the service, prevent abuse and improve quality, our server stores, for each AI request: the photo you uploaded, the generated image (Creative Studio), the text of your message and the AI's reply (AI Chat), the photo-reading result (Photo Reading), and the technical information listed in section 2. These records are kept in a private storage bucket that is not publicly accessible, are reviewed only by us (for example, spot-checking AI answers for safety), and are deleted automatically after 90 days.
05Health and First-Aid Information
AI Chat and Photo Reading give general care information and first-aid guidance. They are not a veterinary service, do not diagnose, and are no substitute for seeing a vet. Care profiles you choose to share may include health-related notes about your cat; they are used only to answer your request.
06Your Choices
- Turn off "Share cat profiles with the AI assistant" or "Share Usage Statistics" in Settings.
- Don't use the AI features — everything else works without sending anything.
- To ask us to delete server records sooner, email us with the approximate date and time of your requests; because we don't have accounts, we locate records by date and device identifier.
07Children
Cathena is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
08Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and show the new date at the top.

Cathena（「我們」）是一款貓咪照護與創作 App。本政策說明 App 使用哪些資訊、為什麼、與誰分享，以及您可以做的選擇。
01只存在您裝置上的資訊
貓咪檔案（名字、品種、生日、照護備註、體重紀錄）、日記與照片、提醒、成就、照片解讀紀錄與對話紀錄，都只存在您的裝置上，我們沒有副本。它們會包含在手機的備份裡（iPhone 是 iCloud 或電腦備份；Android 是開啟備份時的 Google 備份），把備份還原到新手機就能找回。刪除 App 就會一併刪除。
02使用 AI 功能時送出的資訊
部分功能必須把內容送到我們的伺服器，再交給 AI 服務產生結果：
- 創作工坊：您選的照片與風格。
- AI 對話：您的訊息、同一段對話最近最多 10 則前文；若「把貓咪檔案分享給 AI 助理」開啟且您選了貓，還會送出那隻貓的照護檔案（例如年齡、品種、飲食、用藥、過敏、最新體重）。獸醫院名稱與電話永遠不會送出。
- 照片解讀（照護觀察、受傷與急救處置、心情解讀、寵物溝通師）：您選的照片、模式、您輸入的文字；分享開啟時另含所選貓咪的名字、品種與年齡。
每次請求還會附上基本技術資訊：App 版本、裝置型號、系統版本、語言與地區、是否為 Premium 訂閱者，以及用來計算每日次數的 App 專屬裝置識別碼（iPhone 是 identifierForVendor；Android 是第一次開啟 App 時產生的隨機 ID）。我們不會要求您的姓名、電子郵件或帳號。
03由誰處理
- OpenAI：產生圖片、對話回答與照片解讀。透過 OpenAI API 送出的內容預設不會被用來訓練 OpenAI 的模型，並依 OpenAI 的 API 資料政策處理。
- Google Cloud（Cloud Run 與 Cloud Storage，美國）：執行我們的伺服器，並保存第 4 節所述的紀錄。
- Google Firebase Analytics：匿名的使用事件（例如「開始一次創作」「完成一次解讀」），用來了解哪些功能被使用。可以在「設定 → 分享使用統計」關閉。照片、訊息與貓咪檔案永遠不會送到分析服務。
- Google AdMob：對非 Premium 使用者顯示廣告。AdMob 可能依 Google 隱私權政策蒐集裝置與廣告資訊（Android 上包含廣告 ID）。App 不會要求追蹤權限，也不會跨其他公司的 App 追蹤您。在歐洲經濟區、英國與瑞士，App 會在顯示個人化廣告前徵求您的同意，您可以在「設定 → 隱私選項」更改。
- Apple／Google Play：處理訂閱與付款，我們看不到您的付款資料。
04伺服器上保存什麼、保存多久
為了提供服務、防止濫用與改善品質，我們的伺服器會保存每次 AI 請求的：您上傳的照片、生成的圖片（創作工坊）、您的訊息與 AI 的回答（AI 對話）、照片解讀結果（照片解讀），以及第 2 節列出的技術資訊。這些紀錄存放在不公開的私人儲存空間，只有我們會查看（例如抽查 AI 回答的安全性），並在 90 天後自動刪除。
05健康與急救資訊
AI 對話與照片解讀提供的是一般照護資訊與急救處置建議，不是獸醫服務、不做診斷，也不能取代就醫。您選擇分享的照護檔案可能包含貓咪的健康相關備註，只會用來回答您當次的問題。
06您的選擇
- 在設定中關閉「把貓咪檔案分享給 AI 助理」或「分享使用統計」。
- 不使用 AI 功能——其他功能都不需要送出任何資料。
- 想提早刪除伺服器上的紀錄，請寄信給我們，並附上大約的請求日期與時間；因為沒有帳號系統，我們以日期與裝置識別碼找出紀錄。
07兒童
Cathena 並非以 13 歲以下兒童為對象，我們不會在知情的情況下蒐集兒童的資訊。如果您認為有兒童送出了資訊，請與我們聯絡，我們會刪除。
08變更
做法改變時我們會更新本頁，並在最上方標示新的日期。
